Limbo. Suspended. Purgatory? No. Powerless.

I've acquired a chill. Quite cold in here, yes.

The Heaving hulk of steel, colder than ice, won the battle of inertia once again this morning. I plodded down the steps, arms full of lunch and clothes for later, to the locked door which seperated me from the warm dreams of winter night and the stark reality of the day. Hat on and gloves on and coat open in the front, I broke the sacred seal. The new snow was light and big. The wind off my feet pushed it's feathery fluff aside before my boots even hit it. Ah, my ghost-no-my trusted steed waits loyaly in the steet. I opened the door to let the snow fall on the seat, grabbed a brush and gently cleared her of the nights fallings. I opened the door again to let more snow fall on the seat, brushed it off, and sat to start her. The motor turned slow. Turned a few seconds till it caught and started. Windshield wipers, lights, put her in D for drag race. I let her go without pressure on the gas pedal for about ten feet, and the heaving hulk of steel, colder than ice, won the battle of inertia. Once again. This morning.
