We brined chicken breast and breaded it with old pretzels and a baguette which were ground up with fresh parmigiana. Browned it in olive oil and butter and baked it for about 10 minutes.
On the side is home made mac-n-cheese, a white sauce with farmers, cheddar and parmigiana cheese and secret spices. The obligatory vegetables rounded out the meal.
It was all SHUT-UP good and very comforting.
On the subject of comfort, we kicked our old couch pillows to the curb and picked up 4 new ones, 2 traditional and 2 silly.
Poor Beatrice thought she had a sister and didn't quite know what to make of it. Lucas loves the basketball and claimed it as his own.
Winter's on its way, nesting I guess.
