On the way home from Wisconsin we stopped at a cheese shop with a giant cow and noticed this pink elephant at the gas station across the highway.
He is full of graffiti and the nice Indian fellow inside, when asked how long he has been there, told me "he has been coming to us for over 50 years now." He never made eye contact and seemed a little weary of the question, perhaps more than a little weary of sassy travelers.
The business end of the giant cow. Legend has it that it comes to life during the spring and autumn equinox and terrorizes the patrons of the cheese shop. No, not really.
