Paint, faucets and donuts.

Jane painted the kitchen this weekend, her first time with brush and roller. She chose a nice warm sandstone color to cover up the blue sponge-painted 1985 flashdance fiasco. All that is left is the green stenciling which will disappear when we paint the molding.

Here is another shot of the new color, notice how Jane's smoking chair is located within arms reach of the knives and the phone. Hmm. That's right, you know what time it is.We have a new faucet which, when you shut the valves, does not allow streams of water to pass! We like the control of 2 knobs and the spray nozzle resembles a sea creature. (the sea creature thing is just an added bonus, it was not a real factor in our purchase)
This was last Wednesday 1/28/09, some guy was out doing donuts in a hearse. Was it was empty, or perhaps someones last wish?
