Duct tape? Stock up on duct tape? I wonder which lobbyist from 3M filled the pockets of the government guru who spouted those words of wisdom.

I prefer to make sure my bags are packed. I know I'm not smart enough to solve this thing so I leave it in the hands of the powers that be.

Save the duct tape for Dan Rather's mouth. And Connie Chung's and all of the media propaganda puppets. I know, I sound paranoid. The level of trust I have for politicians and media folks has fallen sharply from a base measure of about zero.

I watched a plump old nun in a dark brown habit talk about living in the moment. She hit it right on the head for me. When I project time, I suffer all the distress and hype of the days or weeks I'm forecasting all at once. Right now, right here all is well. A lady who has taught me much of love and relationships told me last night: "The more I am grateful, the more I have to be grateful for."

God bless those poor Iraqis. Perhaps they could use some duct tape, too.
