Weekend highlights

So nice to have 4 days off in a row. Wow, I think my couch got the worst of the holiday, maybe the cushion will pop back up to normal with more "average" use.
No matter how long vacations are I still find myself in denial on Sunday night surfing for just one more program to watch and one more snack to nibble before the inevitable 'flash in the pan' sleep at the door step of dawn and then...Ugh. Monday.
Here on Monday it's not really so bad and I am not here to complain or boo-hoo about things beyond my control, though it is a fun and easy thing to do. So here are the highlights:

Fresh Smoked Turkey (I realized I don't like leftover turkey)
Pumpkin Cheesecake (by St. Rand of Lakewood)
Cavalier wins (2 victories-go Cavs!)
Beatrice is on a diet (The strange looking vet scolded us)
Hours of uninterrupted channel surfing (That's where my couch was dented)
Seeing family at church (Perhaps the most rewarding hour all weekend)
